Reading for Ubuntu PDF Print E-mail

Aim of this project is to overcome the lack of audio books in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian for the blind and visually impaired. We want to connect those who can read (young people with computers and books) and those who need these books for their entertainment, education and progress of their quality of life in any sense. We would create informal network of readers who would read these books, record them in mp3 format and upload them to a website. This way we would assist the associations of the blind and visually impaired libraries of BiH and surrounding countries to provide better services to their members. On the other hand entire community would be able to assist them and therefore would make them feel welcomed and supported by the wider community they live in.
